The main hall is situated within the club house and has easy access from the main entrance hall of the club. Several exits at the back of the hall lead out onto a large open-air courtyard which overlooks the 9th and 18th greens. It is a large hall with a lovely wooden dance floor. Quick and easy access into the bar area and restrooms.
Leading off the the main hall is a much smaller and more intimate room, perfect for small presentations, meetings or private functions. A popular venue area for private birthday and anniversary parties. Also has access onto the open-air courtyard.
Besides the very popular Friday Night Dinners, functions are also hosted within the bar area at Margate Country Club. It is a large flowing area, with many options for table and seating arrangements. The outer part of the bar has large tinted glass windows overlooking the 9th and 18th greens. A buffet style meal can also be served from within this area. Popular with functions that will include a breakfast or lunch.
The “Scowby Terrace” is a large undercover entertainment and function area, especially popular for live entertainment. Ideal for functions serving buffet style food or a “braai”. There is ample seating and lovely views, especially the winter sunsets.
